Brisbane August offline

Post by vovo »

As per previous suggestions, would anyone be interested in an offline in Brisbane? Around the 17th, 18th 19th August?

I will be in Brisbane and would love to get my wine on and share a couple of great bottles with the Brisbane crowd both regular or 1st timers.

Venue to be determined - having been away for a while I will leave this to the locals, happy to stick to the tried and true or try something new.
Theme to be determined but I was thinking a couple fun themes might be "bring that wine you bought for an offline" or "bring that wine you want want to open but don't want to waste on your non wine drinking friends and family" obviously both are fairly casual and offer a wide scope. I am totally up for a more familiar theme though so suggest something if you prefer.

Assume we keep it to 10-12?

It will be me and +1

18 and 19 could be a goer. Likely just me. Will check with my social co-ordinator.

At the moment Rens, you could just be a third wheel. Hopefully some others can join

Looks like I'm not a starter either.

Sorry Clive

Last week was bedlam and didn't look at the forum. If you get any more interest I could do the 17th or 18th, but have a Trvia Night on the 19th.

I like the random bottle themes.

Cheers

17th, 18th & 19th are all no good for me either. Hope you all have a great night and I'll catch you all next time.

Cheers

If you had to choose between drinking great wine or winning Lotto, which would you choose - Red or White?
