Parker Coonawarra 1st Growth 2010
Parker Coonawarra 1st Growth 2010
Apologies for the blurry glass shot, no indication of how much I had drunk!
However, a lovely wine, but was expecting more. Not sure about the longevity of it. Nice acid, good fruit, but lacking in constructive tannins to go too far.

Re: Parker Coonawarra 1st Growth 2010
I am quite surprised by your note as I would have expected their 'First Growth', essentially their reserve wine, to be a long lived wine. At seven years of age it wouldn't surprise me that it might be somewhat closed down but I am perplexed that you should find little in the way of tannins.
I've never had the good fortune to try Parker Estate wines as there was no cellar door back in 2001 when I visited the Coonawarra and I've not come across it here in Canada, but by all accounts it's supposed to be a very reputable wine.
Mahmoud.

I had decanted it for an hour, drank it over two hours.
