Pale yellow in colour. Trademark fresh lime juice on the nose, just hinting at the development of cordial-like notes. Some lemon / blossom in there as well. Intense, but not sharp or zingy.
Likewise the palate. Acid is there, but not overly prominent (still a high acid wine, though), and the weight of the fresh fruit flavours is matching the acid well. Clean finish, maybe a touch short.
2011 was apparently not a flash vintage (except in WA, where it was sensational!), but this wine is no slouch. It's in a really nice place right now - signs of development while retaining lots of freshness and fruit flavour. Refreshing - causing salivation after each sip.
Depending on how you like your rieslings, I would either drink this now, or watch it evolve over at least another 5 years. Lots of life left.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
