2007 Leabrook Estate Pinot Gris, Adelaide Hills (screwcap): 12.6% alc. Medium yellow/gold. Still sweet with peach and apple juice on the bouquet, a little grass and bacon fat in the background. The palate has lost a little fat in the last 7 years, but it’s still substantial and spicy with peaches and wildflowers, a touch of apricot and nougat sweetness mid-palate, finishing slatey. A genuine Pinot Gris-style that looks smashing right now, it seems a touch off-dry which I think would suit a Thai red curry or roast pork with apple sauce.
Cheers,
Ian

Hi Ian.
I think I bought some of these at the same time as you and was astonished at how well it had held up when the last bottle was emptied about 6 months ago. Lovely wine.
