TN: 2015 Gerard Bertrand Cotes des Roses magnum
2015 Gerard Bertrand Cotes des Roses magnum, Languedoc Roussillon (glass stopper): 12.5% alc. Grenache, Cinsault & Syrah (Shiraz). Very pale salmon/pink colour. Fresh but restrained nose primarily of musk and rose petals with just a touch of lemon blossom in the distance; the palate’s crisp, very dry and musky with grip on the finish that needs food. Salmon sashimi isn’t a bad match.
