G'day
This has been lurking in the cellar for at least three years, and was acquired to see what all the fuss was about MP pinot. A shame I never got around to drinking it at the time.
At 6-7 years, this is well into its development in bottle. The colour is red / tawny, and not crystal clear. The nose is a mixture of cherry cola, dried herbs and mushrooms, and fading strawberry primary fruit. The palate is medium bodied, with cooked cherry and some grippy tannins. The finish is medium length - moderately persistent, with some supporting acid.
This isn't going to get any better - drink now if you have some. It's not over the hill, and has some complexity, but its decline is imminent!
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
