Medium to dark red. Nose closed for 1st two hours. Nuthin’. Zilch. Negative. After 6 hours – olives, basil, uber-rich lush fruit pastilles with super sweet jam. Fruit bomb-a-go-go! Oh dear! Palate is very savoury and earthy. Not too generous to begin with and quite acidic, tannic and exceptionally dry. After breathing, better balance. Length not great but drinks well young. Not sure how this will age. Fruit is reserved, with moderate oak and tannins. An interesting but unexciting wine. Well made but without distinction. Went much better with food than on its own.
