Words of Wine Huon Hooke?

Post by JamieBahrain »

Does anyone have a copy? I've left mine in storage. Appreciate a PM and a little assistance.

Wow!

211 views and nobody has the book?

I get a forum email a week about HKG and try to respond. I hope none of you are holding out.

Not really interested in Huon's opinions. Sounds a bit harsh, but for me he is to wine as Curtis Stone is to food.

I think Huon is pretty good. Seems to have more of an international palate than being skewed towards fruit bombs

I've head of Huon Hooke, though not this particular book, and have read many of his wine reviews in Australian newspapers and wine websites. However, who is Curtis Stone?

In that vein, I have an autographed copy of Jeremy Oliver's 2001 On Wine Annual following a tasting in Sydney. To me his reviews of the wines tasted that evening were pretty spot-on. I was impressed.
