Penfolds Yattarna Chardonnay 1998

Had the 1998 Yattarna. It was a "wow" and a mouthfull. Pleasantly "rounded" and smooth. Ihe finish was excellent and rather intense and went very well with the Chinese meal. However, was disappointed with the nose - not particularly "chardonnay-like". In fact very "mild" bouquet. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF THIS AND THE 2000 Vintage Yattarna ?
