TN: 2009 Skillogalee Clare Valley Riesling

Post by n4sir »

2009 Skillogalee Riesling, Clare Valley (screwcap): 13% alc. Medium yellow/gold. Tight and slatey, very pithy lemon, Bickfords lime cordial, some toast, cut grass and lanolin beginning to appear in the background; the palate’s grippy and bone dry, long with crisp, grippy acidity on the finish with a touch of golden apple. Developing nicely, worth holding on to or having now with a nice piece of grilled garfish.

Cheers,

Fully agree, Ian. I'm still holding a couple of these, although I reckon they are plateauing now.
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
