Searching for Oz wine tasting notes

Post by Tonygoldstone »

I noticed a dinstinct lack of web pages/sites that search for tasting notes / scores or prices from multiple sites. Im trying to create one as it takes a long time to enter this data when doing inventories ect.

Any comments would be welcome! Feel free to use and let me know if you want me to add others. I'm trying to place a particular emphasis on Oz wine (other regions to follow).

Go on have a play!

Can you think of other important Oz wine sites that are searchable for TNs?

I see no reference to probably the biggest TN repository on the web - the archive of www.wineloverspage.com . Robin's site is probably the reason why everyone prefixes their tasting notes with a 'TN' - he was the first to archive notes using this technique. It's a user-created database, same as here, but with at least 5 years of very comprehensive history and lots of notes (not such an emphasis on Australia, obviously).

regards,
Graeme

Hi Tony,

What about this site (Auswine) plus http://www.vinocellar.com/forums/

It may be just a matter of getting the query string setup correctly.
