I may be wrong but only released in Magnums and
only for growers and people who have worked a vintage.
I have only seen 1997.

Cheers

Mike, grapes are from a vineyard next to the winery (I think) and picked each year by a large group of invited pickers who are friends and retailers. There's usually a list inside the magnum tube showing who the lucky/unlucky souls were that vintage. Rockford put on lunch to make it a big day out.

Only bottled in magnums and a very good example of Barossa Cabernet. I have a theory that Barossa Cabernet (not just Rockford) has more vintage variation than their Shiraz, that is the good vintages are very good and the lesser vintages are much lesser if you get my drift. They also need time to show really well.

If you've got a chance at the Home Block I'd grab one for a good lie down.
Cheers - Steve
If you can see through it, it's not worth drinking!

Thanks amcv and Steve,
made a mistake on Langtons and bid on 2x98's. (Pushed bid button too quickly and actually won.)
How long do you reckon they should rest for? You were talking about the wine and not me? :)
Thanks,
Mike.

A bit was said about the home block a couple of months ago:

My suggestion is drink one and post the notes on the forum.

And yes I did get the 1999 at the MS charity auction!

Cheers
Ian
