Adelaide, Australia, 20-July-2004 -- Wickman's Fine Wine Auctions this week launched its annual online charity wine auction to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis society. Many of the bottles and magnums have been autographed by the winemakers and are expected to fetch record prices when the auction concludes on Friday 30th July 2004.
Recent increases in membership, fuelled by it's free membership policy, are expected to have a favourable result on the amount of money raised with all lots starting at $1, no reserve prices and no premiums being paid.
Each year the Wickman family raises money for charity and, for the second year running, are hosting an online wine auction as part of their fund raising activities, auctioning off wines and wine related services that have been generously donated from wine companies from Australia and overseas.
Inspiring his younger brother Calum (five years old), Nine year old Kane started raising money four years ago on his own initiative and each year raises larger and larger amounts which culminated last year in being awarded the highest child fundraiser in Australia for 2003.

ABOUT MS
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that randomly attacks the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), the actual trigger to the disease has not yet been discovered with the onset of symptoms occurring most often between the ages of 20 and 40. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of the disease cannot be predicted; symptoms may range from tingling and numbness to paralysis and blindness. MS is a devastating disease because people live with its unpredictable physical and emotional effects for the rest of their lives.

If I win some wine would you ship it to an address in Australia for me? Would save big $'s on shipping (more to bid with)! And I can get it later in the year when I visit in early December. Or can I pick it up from you then??
Mike
No problem. Either method would be fine with me. The only stipulation I would make if I was to store it for you would be that you cover the insurance costs on it if thats ok (should only be a few dollars per month depending on value).
Cheers
