How can I sell some bottles

Post by Colin »

I have some wine I am willing to sell but appart from auction houses are there any other methods. I don't have a liquor licence so that counts out e-bay. Any suggestions. Colin
Let us have wine and women, mirth and laughter. Sermons and soda water the day after.

sold.com.au doesnt seem to make a big deal of the licensing issues the way ebay does. whether it is completely legal or not is for others to answer though, I recall there are some concerns about whether sold.com.au is truly within the law on this.

I have bought from private vendors this way,

cheers

Not recently, you haven't  Sold.com.au was sold (.com.au) to eBay about a year ago.

Try Ric Einstein's website torbwine.com as he has a section allowing people to trade wine privately amongst themselves.

You may well find buyers if you've got well cellared and interesting wine.

If you can see through it, it's not worth drinking!

Such a shame it is too, there were bargains to be had on occaision. Think back vintage wines at less than current release prices. 1983 Wolf Blass Black Label at $25 springs to mind, sigh

Depends on what you got to sell. More info would help. PM me if you so desire.
