Vibrant purple red. Blackberry, earth and plum nose, also some meaty whiffs.

Up front the palate is sweet and spicy, with white pepper, blackberry, and some meaty elements. There is also some nutty, caramelly oak holding up the fruit. Warming, tongue coating, smooth, eminently drinakable without being overly challenging. Good drinking at about $18.
