Hello all

2004 Kalleske Clarrys Barossa White

A new wine from Troy Kalleske, this is a fresh and bright 2004 white blend of Chenin Blanc and Semillon, unoaked, screwcapped, affordable. terrific current drinking.

Pale colour, the nose really shows the Chenin Blanc component, fresh apples, herbs, touches of tropical fruit all mix together, very appealing. On the palate the Semillon is a little more noticable, adding citrus and melon to more apples, with nice fresh tropical fruits and touches of un ripe peach. Nice crisp acid finish, very fresh and zingy.

Quite dry, this is a terrific, if not particularly complex wine. Great current drinking and well priced.
