Again this is for tonight's dinner but snuck a taste whilst allowing it to air in the decanter. A brick red colour with loads of little critters in the bottle.
The bouquet is heavenly, not too alcoholic but sweet fruit on the palate and a long aftertaste.
I would highly recommend this, even to Gary W.

Vintage Ports
Hardy's VPs have always been of a high standard even when VPs were out of fashion. I hope they remain that way as they can be purchased at auction for $15 - $20 with decades of maturation. The style is unique and you can understand why someone in the early days of Grange referred to it as "a nice dry vintage port". The only downside is their inability to keep much past a few days after opening. 375ml bottles are the go.
