The makers of "Finish", the dishwashing stuff now have a new product called "Finish protector".
They claim:
"Protects your glasses against corrosion, keeping the glass clear and shiny.
Ensures even premium glasses are protected against glass corrosion in the dishwasher.
Remains active and provides protection for up to 50 washes."
They go on to claim recommendation by Rosenthal, Luigi Bormioli, Villeroy and Boch and Schott Zwiesel.
I bought some but have not tried it yet. Has anyone done so? I have only noticed a certain "cloudiness" on one of my Spiegelau Shiraz glasses, which happens to be the one I use most of the time.
I guess time will tell.
