Davo you are right, Romano's would make a great spot for off-lines in the future, the food was excellent, the service was good without being over bearing, the price was very reasonab...

Nice notes Justin, pity I missed the evening but by the time I read the post it was all over... I musn't let the curse of the drinking class get the better of me in the future. On the Batista Pinot, I was very impressed with ??? vintage on release, but the wine faded after a few months in the celler...

Free racking

I have some Jarrah racking for about 10 dozen bottles, which is surplus to requirements. If there is anyone in Perth who would like them for the right price (free) and is willing to collect drop me an email (peter.gigi@bigpond.com). I out grew the wooden variety and now use weld mesh... definitely t...

A couple of relevant snippets on Southcorp from research done by a well-known stockbroking firm... 80% of 2004 US sales are covered by hedging, although this drops to 25% in 2005. 40% of Southcorps sales come from the US, which is in oversupply, therefore to maintain market share, margins would need...

I would register on the members list with an email address though, as it probably will make it easier for Paul S to make contact with the details of the venue etc.

I have just been given a bottle of wine which comes from Kalgoorlie and dates from the early to mid 70's, it has wonderful tasting notes on the label which are worth sharing: The Goldrush Kreppy's Rotten Klaret An unusual "Rough as Guts" Red Wine that has the Distinctive Bouquet of old and ill-cared...
