Any Broadbeach (Surfers) restaurant/cafe recommendations?

Going to Broadbeach (Surfers) with wife & 2 1/2 year old daughter during March. Seeking restaurant/cafe recommendations for dinner (or breakfast or lunch) around Broadbeach (& Surfers). BYO is good but not necessary. Anything but Indian is good. All recommendations welcome. THX in advance.

To be fair to Daniel though the $50 charge was something suggested by other forumites in this previous thread Indeed it was, and I've been away with no ability to recuse myself! Anyway, that aside this thread was developed to get market information. And no, I'd rather not work for the tax office, t...

In QLD we don't have to provide BYO if a licensed venue. Personally, I don't make exceptions for any customers.. all customers are important and deserve equal treatment. I don't understand restaurant managers that "panda" to certain guests - and it infuriates me when certain guests (and t...

BYO question

Some friends have advised that licensed restaurants must provide a BYO service upon request albeit they might have a high charge... is this correct?

What are the laws (especially in SA) in relation to BYO at licensed restaurants? must they provide a BYO service upon request?

THX in advance

Yes, well, one reason for this posting was due to Rockford Blacks. I was doing some rearrangements in my cellar especially in relation to my Rockford Blacks. I found a couple 6 pack boxes containing 6 bottles of dis. 2000 & 6 bottles of dis. 1999. Just about every bottle has leaked significantly...

Hi Torb, I'm curious what would be the (legal) difference between someone posting parkers wine scores on this forum and a retailer posting parkers scores (as many do) on an online shop? unless retailers can specifically get a subscription enabling them to post scores.

Rockford BP secondary market

As already mentioned the CD limit of BP has been dropped to 3 bottles in an attempt by Rockfords to reduce flippers selling to the secondary market trade of the BP. There generally appears to be a large secondary market of the current BP during any year (have you seen the amount of 2004 BP dozen lot...
