Re: Adelaide Offline

There is an ADL demand for high end offline. I know some folks say this is beyond their budget but is it? If you are on a wine forum posting I’d suspect most have a few special bottles . Put up one special bottle but try another 8 . Your palate won’t forget them . So there’s a bit of resistance to ...

Hi guys I can't confirm until next week. Sorry this is hospitality... I'm happy to move to standby for those who can confirm. Tentative for me if it's not 23-26 June. However any Fri sat could be difficult for me.

Never seen any soldera in adelaide before. The 1990 that I had in sydney a couple years back was probably one of the best wine in my life.

Cheers

Yes Watson's and etc can be very expensive but occasionally you can find some good bargains especially during discount promotion.

Recently just picked up a couple of Phillippe Charlopin Parizot Chambertin 2010 at less than $1700hkd, which is a reasonable price i believe.

Hey Ian I could have contributed the 86-88 if you invited me!! I have been a long time fan of HP cabernet especially those made by john wade. Great to hear about the 12. Agreed on the 89. A great wine from an average vintage. 92 and 94 are always my favourite but obviously you had different experien...

I believe i have a bottle of comte armand clos des epeneaux 1998 stored somewhere (i think it's actually in sydney but i will need to find out). While red wine from beaune always gets overlooked it should be still interesting to compare a volnay to a pommard from same vintage (I'm afraid the pommard...

Is there a limit to how much wine I can bring? I have a bunch of leftovers from tastings in the Barossa and Adelaide Hills that some people might want to try or take home. I just won't have time to drink them. They're open but still very drinkable as far as I can tell. Do you think it would be OK f...

A pinot producer. In 2004 it made up a bit of hype (probably in US only) by beating a series of DRC wines in a blind tasting
