I have received a small allocation the past 3 years but this year just received a polite rejection letter which informed me I will be back on the list next year.
Very skinny year indeed!

I wouldn’t have thought this is the year they’ll do that. But hey, the newbies can only hope.

Re: Wendouree 2021 Mailer
Third year no stripe, green stamp. SA. Just got the CC hit.
$732.20 is someone wants to work that out. Roughly half what I asked for.
Happy.

Started last year. More of a stamp, I think. Seems to be a way of prioritising those of us too late to the party to qualify for crayon status.limkeith wrote:My friend got a green crayon with 2020 on it! A new colour guys!

Second year “green” in SA. Just had card hit. Put in for 6 of everything though did not expect that. I’m assuming 6 each of the Shiraz-Mataro and Shiraz-Malbec are on their way. Interesting no MoA though if that’s the case. As grateful as I am, hopefully the fact Ive got something means all the reds...

Re: Paid Cellar Door tastings to become the norm?
In the current climate- definitely acceptable. I can always understand CD closer to major cities charging a fee to make tastings for large groups and bus tours worthwhile given those groups will be less likely to buy anything. Never had an issue with anywhere in Aus charging too much. A trip to Napa...

Re: Wendouree 2020 Mailer
Second year here, letter arrived.
Has a “2019” stamp in the top corner of the order form. No mark or crayon otherwise. Is this a new thing?
