We are cycling through Spain at the moment. Movement through Europe straight forward once you get here. Should not be a problem. We landed from Malaysia. No PCR test is required. No quarantine. Just a vaccination certificate and an online form for whatever the destination country is.

Jamie, sadly Hawks-Doggies match in Tassie this year :( My nephew and wife went thru quarantine in melbs, said it was fine, but I'm sure it's the luck of the draw. I'm in the opposite boat to many, I am trying to get back home to China!! Still not allowed back, I haven't seen my wife and child (age...

Re: China targets Australian wine industry
All good mate. Just finishing our last year here. The response from Europe as far as relocating, job opportunities etc has been 100 times better than AUS in the COVID climate. I appreciate AUS is a different circumstance to Europe. Our next adventure will be Europe or South America, but Europe seems...

Ten years ago nothing but AUS.
Now almost entirely Italian and Spanish.
Better value for money from these countries. Locals chase the Bordeaux and Burgundy hard so the French prices are through the roof.

well, "Benchmark" (and its easy to see what you are the "benchmark" for), as a medical specialist with three degrees, who came top 0.5% in the State year 12, let's assume I'm not stupid, I think that would be reasonable. strange that I am drinking your "kool aid" (I am...

Drive through Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Libya (to mention a few) and see the not so gentle hand of US foreign policy. Choose your poison, economic and political influence versus sanctions and destruction, bankers in suits with briefcases versus military men in fatigues with guns. Great story, b...

Felix however, has been drinking the CCP Kool-aid. What kind of remark is that? Well, I do know, but it is in poor taste as it drifts into the realm of a smear and not fair comment. Smear? How so? It is an expression he young folk use when someone is looking through rose coloured glasses at a situa...

Drive through Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia to see the gentle hand of China's foreign policy... Nice roads though. :D How's KL? Another four months modified lockdown, but not so bad. Haha. We shall agree to disagree on disagreement. Interesting that you have never had a bad one and others have struggled to find a good one. The only reason an Australian pinot noir should not sell for over $750 a bottle is if wine drinkers consistently find the product faulty. Interestingly, I po...

I would happily take the risk.
Not in a high risk age group, no comorbidities. Very likely to have had, or get the virus and not even realise.
Quarantine is the killer. Holidays are mostly two week, three week and one eight week... not going to work.

Decanted for 90 minutes. First impressions. Medium garnet colour in the glass with slight coppering on the rim. On the nose, savoury, fennel, green herbs and tar. No presence of oak and the fruit, if it is there, is hard to detect and tertiary. On the palate, it is high acid, big tannins, black tea ...

Based in KL we used to travel 4 times a year, this lockdown is painful.

I am not sure if there are examples of Australian Pinot that meet the 'traditional' style.
Not sure why you ask. No one has said there were any or made the comparison.
