Re: The Most Popular Label in your cellar?
Click on 'my cellar' Then click 'summarise by' and choose the bottom dropdown choice offered 'wine' Thanks for that too. I'd wondered this and it was hidden in front of me. I exported a CSV and used Excel  Now with percentages (we don't have many wines, these are the only double diget bottles ...

Re: Wedding anniversary Shiraz suggestions
Another vote for Mt Edelstone here, it's the nicest wine I've enjoyed. I picked up two 2010's for our anniversary, had one young and the other is waiting for our 20th. The price jumped a few years ago but it's still a lot cheaper than Grange.

Re: Aged St Henri and Yattarna
I’d pass on both. I think they’ll have both seen better days unless they’ve been perfectly stored… and even then I wouldn’t be confident. They've been cellared in a wine storage place so temp controlled. I do expect the St Henri to be past it and yes, as Craig and others have said, the cork will be...

Aged St Henri and Yattarna
Hi, it's been many bottles between posts and it's great to see the forum's alive and kicking. I have an opportunity to buy some wines from a neighbour (in excellent condition as I think cellared from purchase): 1995 Penfolds St Henri This vintage piqued my interest as it's when I started working, (s...

Yes, the 2012 Riesling museum release was offered for tasting. It's a wonderful drop, full of favour. Ah, good stuff. I wish I was a local :( Just finishing up my 04's and 05's. Their Eden Valley riesling is great at the 15 year mark. Oh nice. What are they like at that point? How have they develop...

Re: Unheralded wineries you love
It’s hard for us in Australia to comprehend the daily numbers of cases and deaths. We are pretty lucky, Australia is an island and for long periods no-one was allowed in or out. Agreed, people now understand what being girt by sea means. Hopefully the Syd situation is reigned in. Melb went ballisti...

Oliver's Taranga Vineyards Hentley Farm We started on a bit of a Grenache search and quite like Oliver's Taranga (the Corina Cab too) but we haven't had much. Whenever I go to join their wine club the Grenache is unavailable :( We discovered Hentley Farm's Grenache and thought it was neat until one...

Thanks for sharing. I have some Bin 389 and a Mount Edelstone and Cyril Henschke of the 2010 stashed away for our anniversaries so it's interesting to see where they're at. We opened a Rockford Rifle Range on the weekend and really enjoyed it. I think we're starting to get a picture of developing wi...

Had the 13 Cirillo 1850 Grenache on the weekend. Good juice, varietal and built to last. Oh great. Any idea if you can tell if there's development? It's under screw so might be slow? I picked up a '13 to try and then grabbed a '10 as an anniversary wine to share with friends next weekend. We're loo...

and if you're a member it drops down to A$190. Yes, and I can get a further 5% but that's still a lot of money and would be the most expensive bottle I'd have bought but a long way and I'm not convinced I would enjoy it over the Mt Edelstone of the same vintage that we still have. Has any had any of the Hentley Farm wines? We had a 2018 The Marl Grenache and are keen on trying it again, we quite enjoyed it. Any ideas on some of their other wines?
We've also come to be fans of Oliver's Taranga Small Batch Grenache fans. Anyone else?

Moving on from the hand sanitiser, last night we cracked a 2015 Rockford Eden Valley Riesling . It was still fresh (under screw) so a while to go. It went well with the microwave bumpkin and bacon risotto :D. I've been slowly keeping a bottle per vintage to see how they go over time. I'll probably p...

Sam, it's interesting to hear from the inside. I hope it goes well and yes, strange times.
I have a bottle of 2019 Hand Sanitiser - jammy, too much length with notes of Aloe Vera and a hint of alcohol. Hopefully it is not over the hill yet
