At the time I picked up the pine from the reject pile at the timber yard so I used 40x20 vertical and 10x10 horizontal.

I made my own rack like the one pictured, but without the top shelf. I was easy but took some time gluing and nailing all the little struts. I made it about 20 years ago when I mainly had Bordeaux shaped bottles so its hard to squeese in Burgundy shaped bottles. So make sure you accommodate for tha...

Not sure if San Quircio D'Orcia is in the area but it is a wonderful town, not so touristy. We stayed here and loved it. Great restaurants around too.

Heard Liam Anderson from Wild Duck Creek on the radio before Easter saying the quality was very good, especially Cabernet. Was trying to get picking finished before the Easter rains.

Does any one have any good recommendations of any larger supermarkets with big selections of local wines ? From time to time I stumble across them when travelling and able to stock up on some amazing buys. So any in the Barolo area that you guys may know of?
