Re: NWR: Peated Australian Whisky
Hey Mahmoud, I'm Melbourne based so unforutnately I don't have a good knowledge of any bricks and mortar stores in Sydney that may have them. Could (can!) certainly help you out if you're venturing down Melbourne way at any stage this trip? There are a number of online options, but I'm not sure how ...

Re: Wendouree 2020 Mailer
Still waiting for the CC hit here (Melbourne). Red striper since 2008 and similar to others I've never missed a beat until the last 3-4 vintages which have been a mixture of reduced orders and no wine at all. Fingers crossed.

I called into the Wolf Blass cellar door when I was in the Barossa a couple of weeks ago not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. I support JO's assessment that the winemaking seems to have moved in a new direction - they appear to have moved away from belting everything to death with t...

Charles Melton Sparkling Burgundy - 1989 disgorgement. This bottle was of unknown provenance so I was a bit concerned as to whether it would still be drinking well. It also had a white / cream label rather than the black one that I am used to and no vintage disgorgement date. A quick call to...
