Re: TN: 2005 Chateau Reynella Shiraz (cleanskin)

Ps. It appears the 2006 vintage is starting to be be sold as cheaply by the same initial e-tailers as this one. Another major trophy/gold medal winner on the show circuit with a $54 RRP being dumped as a cleanskin at (I'm guessing) something close to cost by Constellation. Why would Constellation b...

It looks like an upmarket bottleshop, but from reading their website they seem to say they are a cellar door and even have their own wine. Anyone had any experiences...

Its been fantastic, I have kept it topped up at all times even when drinking a fair bit out of it I never leave it bellow the three quarter mark. My port is amazing, mellow and mature tasting. Re: Port in Barrels...

If any reader can advise of any decent 'bulk' muscat or tokay available in the Barossa, I'm looking for some. My 90 litre Octave has had more than it's share of 'the angels share' go missing, so needs topping up.. I hear that morris for a great bulk tawny, thats what I will probably go with on my b...

I have organised 7 through them now and all have had no problems or leaks. Thats what I like to hear I will be headding down to Lyndoch for a retreat for a...

The more I read of your stories and tips the more excited I am about getting my own! Thankyou all for the information! Any new barrel seasoning tips would be nice. Also if its used and has for example stale port in it from a bad mix, what is the best way to clean the insides without ruining the barr...

I will certainly consider what you are suggesting and see how easy I can make it for him to set up. The idea of the wiki is not the site owner to input the data, but for everyone to help contribute and organise it. Freely to be edited by any members of the forum. I will have a look and see if there ...

My first real recommendation for this forum.

Richmond Grove Barossa Shiraz 2002
Can be purchased from dan murphies for about $15 a bottle per 6 pack, and it is drinking great right now! Definatly a winner

Vintage cellars have some great tasting notes on it as well.

Im a big fan of Sparkling Red, go for Peter Rumbll :P but it may be a bit out of your price range, depending where you purchase it from.

I would go for something like Andrew Garrett Sparkling Burgundy, its just great balue and can be grabbed for around $12 a bottle.
