Has anyone tried this wine? A friend is selling off a few bottles at cost, and I was wondering if it up to the hype. Is it drinking well now, and does it have life left in it?

I think the term you are looking for is maderized, which in essence, is cooked, or over heated, just like madeira. maderized wines will often have a dull nose and are flat on the palate. It may be low level Tca, because everyone is different as to how much TCA they can detect. If your really curious...
