I'm happy with anything above 60ml in a large tasting, although I tend to take the perspective of how many bottles you'll be consuming if shared equally, at the current rate it is going to be about 1.75bottles per person (way too much). Most will bail at around one so in reality there will be more ...

Agree 100%. There aren't a huge number but there are a few places that have treated me poorly so I simply don't buy their wines any more via any method. If anything I might buy at auction so they don't get direct money from me but I'd probably still remember the bad experience when opening a bottle...
