I have to say that most restaurants' wine lists are boring at the least. the mark up does not bother me that much if it is backed by good quality service, good stemware. When I go to a restaurant, most of their wines on the list do not interest me, with the few that does, I have better vintages at h...

It varies depends on the style, age, storage conditions, and of course personal preferences.

Some very old wine may get worse if been decanted for too long. It's all subjective.

1996 JL Trapet Chambertin The 1996 vintage has been somewhat critisised in various circles as being overly acidic and lacking fruit. Well, those pundits need to have a look at this. What an incredible wine. Coming after two bruising Aussie shiraz, this should have been washed away in their massive ...

Grammar is so over rated. what is the main purpose of language? to communicate and get our point across. so who cares about grammar? If you can understand what I have to say then that's good enough. It has served its purpose.

I have not bought any penfolds for a whiles. The price is just simply stupid. At $600 a bottle, I'd rather buy 1st growth Brodeaux or a grand Cru burgundy any day. Penfolds wines are made by scientists with formula or at least it tastes like that anyway. More I drink Bordeaux and burgundy, the more ...
