I dont think you would have done damage, but it i would let the wine sit for a day or two the bubbles in it could be caused from either a. disolved Oxygen b. disolved Carbon Dioxide depending on how the bottle was filled and closed ie. vacum sealed, CO2 sealed or just sealed. ulnless its actually fi...

Heres somthing to think about
some viticulturalists think that maybe the reason that WA merlots are so good , particularly southern plantings is that the merlot is actually cab franc :D

just quickly 2001 in bottle and finished not released yet

2002 not sure maybe just bottled, about 17 months oak roughly ?
not unlikley was left from previous tasting which i was not at :cry:

I really have to agree with TORB on the 94 this wine is huge and every time I have tried it I have been amazed by it's youthfulness I think this wine will still look huge in 5 years time , I've had the 94,95,96,98,99,00,01,02 Jack Mann I would have given every one of thes 18.5+/20 at least, quite fr...

Barr some exceptions ie Sauternes (with alot of sem of course) :D
