I dont think you would have done damage, but it i would let the wine sit for a day or two the bubbles in it could be caused from either a. disolved Oxygen b. disolved Carbon Dioxide depending on how the bottle was filled and closed ie. vacum sealed, CO2 sealed or just sealed. ulnless its actually fi...

some viticulturalists think that maybe the reason that WA merlots are so good , particularly southern plantings is that the merlot is actually cab franc

Life is too short to drink Sauvignon Blanc

Barr some exceptions ie Sauternes (with alot of sem of course)

although im certain every wine has a time and a place
