Can only agree
Dave I can only support you, I was fortunate to pick up a few 10 years ago, the last, drank at my in laws 40th aniversary dinner was superb notwithstanding a flight and 37degrees on the day of the tasting (thankgod for aircon). Stuart
Presume you had a look at the menu, Mclaren Vale shiraz could go a treat, or not with a few of the offerings on the menu

Mclaren Vale Shiraz
Stuart I must concede I am more a barossa man, but hey lets go with Mclaren Value shiraz. I am happy to provide a 2001 Kays Block 6 and will bring 1998 Reynell Shiraz as a back up I will also bring a 83 Reynell VP for after dinner. Wife is a question mark but will know by the end of the week. Brett

03 South Australia
In my experience it seems that the barossa wines from the north in particular look great in 03, the mid (around Tanunda) and South are less impressive. Obviously yet to see the real big guns

TN Request: Any notes on 2001 Stonyridge Larose (or vintage)
I have the option of buying some 2001 Larose. Has anyone tried, or alternatively does anyone have a view on the vintage in NZ?
Thanks

Release Qty of Rosemount Jimmy Watson winner
It occurs to me that there is a lot more of this wine than is normal. It literally is everywhere and is heavily discounted. Does anyone know how this years production compares to previous releases? I am a bit suspect that production may have been beefed up to meet demand
