Post by ross67 »

I got this given to me today as a gift.....lucky me :D
I know it is a very good wine but am trying to gauge where it is at.

Has any one tried one of these in recent times??

I think I drank my last one a year or two ago, although there might be one left. The last time I had it it was fully mature, great drinking but only likely to hold or fade from here. Drink reasonably soon.

Was it definately the 01 Dave?
How did the structure/balance seem to you?

JO seems to put the drinking window on this wine from 2013-2021!!

The 1990 Eileen Hardy is still going strong. It will last for quite a few more years judging by the bottle I had last fall.

Cheers......................Mahmoud.
