Vintage 09 / Wineries

Post by Taswegian »

I am not sure if this was the right place to put this, but, while I am on my "holiday", I was thinking of working in a winery/ vineyard for a couple of weeks. Does anyone know of any good links/contacts for this?
Thanks
Never enough Pinot........but now I have found shiraz

I'd PM Nayan on here and ask him. He's been involved with the winemaking process for several years here in adelaide (although mostly clare) but he is bound to know a few people. must be about the right time to start asking too.

Then again yoi'd probably do quite well contacting the vineyard of your choice directly too.

Nayan's not online while he's briefly in Australia, so this mightn't be possible.

It might be worth contacting Roger Pike of Marius wines (at Willunga) by email/PM:

Roger's a heck of a nice bloke, and even if you can't help him out he may have some suggestions/contacts for the area.

Cheers,
Ian
