D'Arenberg Feathered Dinosaur ??

Post by Ollie »

Last Week I was wandering around my local Supermarket and discovered sitting on their Fine Wine Rack a bottle of D'Arenberg that I've never heard off. It was called 'Feathered Dinosaur' and was a 2004 Cab Sav. I've checked the D'Arenberg Website but it's not listed and googling it also came up blank.
Has anyone else seen this wine or was I dreaming??

Cheers

Ollie

New one to me. Didn't have it at their stand at the Good fod and wine show either. Not the say that I am surprised though as they spring up with new brands all the time.

cheers

Bartenders are supposed to have people skills. Or was it people are supposed to have bartending skills?

Well .. about a month ago, 5 bottles of Feathered Dinosaur appeared on the shelves of my local Tesco. Never having heard of this before, and guessing from its price that it would be good (£17.99), I bought all 5. I got home and googled it, and got no hits (until today when I hit this forum !). It's quite old to be a current release (3 years in barrel ??) - have you tried it ?

Try emailing them at winery@darenberg.com.au they have a few wines 'UK only' so this may be another.
