A well chilled Goosebumps ($50USD) started oha our Thanksgiving celebrations over here on the 22nd. Its important to be aware that being a Mollydooker, you won't find it a subtle wine. That said, it has a very attractive nose, loads of dark fruit over a smoky note. Flavors carry well onto the palate which is nicely balanced, but the smoke turns more to tar and the bubbles don't last; a problem I've seen with a few sparkling Shiraz. Still its a very drinkable wine, and would be excellent value at $30. The alcohol is simply not a problem, but then my bottle says 15%! .
