Poet - GK? That's Chesterton, then.

Craig,

Thats an easy one and I didn't use Google for the answer.

According to page 63 of Uncle Johns Supremely Satisfying Bathroom Reader (the 14 edition in the series) which I just happened to be reading this morning, it was Oscar Wilde.

He also said "The English have the miraculous power of turning wine into water."

And who says I am not well read.

Dear Celia,

Thank you so much. I've printed out your note and placed it in the scrapbook I bought to keep all my awards, certificates and the genuine thanks I received for my quizzes. I bought the scrapbook at the start of my apprenticeship, five years ago.

Yours will be the first entry.
