1894 Grange

I have a perfectly stored bottle of 1984 grange - the year of my birth. The various wine books suggest it should be consumed in 2009. I wish to sell it, not drink it.

Does anyone know of how I can sell this baby without being taken for a ride - as for me this is a once in a lifetime sale & is this vintage a good one by reputation?

If you say what city you are from, maybe we can suggest an auction house. And how has it been well stored?

Good point!

I am in Melbourne - and it has been stored in a wine cellar with a variation of temp of 3 degrees - not sure what that means... but I have been assured that it is in mint condition. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

'84 Grange is going for $220-280 at Langtons at the moment.
After 15% commission, it probably would be better to drink it yourself...
