NWR: 2006 Shiraz
NWR: 2006 Shiraz
We've had a new addition to the cellar - a 2006 vintage, his name is Raz (short for Shiraz), should reach his peak in about 8 years and hold on to 12-14 yo.
Cheers

Gee and I think it is dangerous letting my four year old in the cellar but a puppy
I have a t shirt packed in plastic which makes it look like a bottle which master four is allowed to touch - does this mean you will need a squeeky toy in the shape of a bottle in the cellar or would that only encourage chewing wine bottles

Just think how much wine you would have been able to buy with all the money you will be spending on PAL.
He is a weimararner, beautiful dogs, we had two for 14 years until about 3 years ago, we looked at other breeds, but once you've lived with a wei everything else looks second best. About 35 kg when fully grown, maybe a little more. We'll probably get him a friend (another wei) later in the year.
PAL?? Try the price of Eukanuba, even at Ric's Mates Rates, I had to take 5 dozen bottles to Langtons when we picked him up to pay for his food and necessities over the next 6 months.
Cheers

Easier just to trade em with TORB for the tucker I would have thought
Nice dog, but what is she holding
Glad to see you have started to fill the nest again, hope you have heaps of fun, especially the toilet training bit.
Oh Davo,
Andrea will get you for that one
Yvette had a weimararner when she was a kid and loved it, only problem was they had to get rid of it cause it kept eating the neighbours chickens.

That's a great photo of the Raz, but a shocker of Andrea.
As for selling 5 cases of wine to pay for the stuff, I am glad you got rid of those bottles of Yella Tail Shar-don-ay!
The first six months of owning a new pup is always the most expensive, you have to buy all the bits, the vaccinations, desexing etc. Something has to pay for my wine.
.... and if you think it's expensive owning Raz, try having to foot the bill for Goofy, Red, Sam, Tokay, Cranky Muscat and Rat Bag Port.

Well okay, if we're going to show our new puppies....
This is Kila. She's now 12 weeks old. This was taken a fortnight ago after a day of pruning. Her apparent job for the day was spreading our neat piles of prunings all over the vineyard.

I must only admit to surprise that you settled for one ... instead of getting at least a dozen!
(Same goes for you Max!)

And much as Wine has play'd the Infidel,
And robbed me of my Robe of Honour â€â€Well,
I often wonder what the Vintners buy
One half so precious as the ware they sell.

At that "bottle" price I can only afford one now - and maybe another one later this year.
Cheers
