NEW TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY CONTROL TIMBER WINE CABINETS!

Hello everyone. I just recently returned from the Sydney Wine show - some fantastic wines there! Mmmmmm.

There was one new product there that I had to share with you all which I thought was fantastic! Owning 500 bottles of wine myself I have always had problems storing my wine correctly instead of just putting it under the stairs…..lol.

The item is a temperature and humidity controlled wine cabinet that does not look like a fridge, but is a beautiful piece of furniture that looks great in my dining room.

It is great - my new cabinet stores 580 bottles made of American Cherry wood.

Take a look for yourselves - WWW.WINECABINETSAUSTRALIA.COM.AU
They have a great feature which allows you to design your own cabinet.

At the show they had a great promotion going when you place an order. If you quote this number 3103, they include a free copy of the Uncorked software to keep track of your wine…..just thought I would share this with everyone ;)

Take a look - I love my new wine cabinet!

Yep, Just word for word as appears on W*, except a different user name and a different date of joining.

Nice work, but a bit obvious don't you think.

Can you confirm that you:
a) Don't know the owners
b) aren't advertising on their behalf
c) aren't in any other way connected to them
d) aren't one of the owners yourself

This came across to me (and presumably Dave) as absolutely typical spam - a first time post extolling the virtues of a product for sale, giving a weblink in to where it can be purchased. If we had to define how spam would look, this would be a perfect example. Generally most posters here spend a short time "lurking" and then nervously make a first post (usually a response, not a new post extolling the virtues of XYZ product) to test the water. That you've piled in with what is tantamount to a sales pitch makes me (I'm sorry to say this) still extremely doubtful of your intentions.

I don't want to be involved in driving a genuine wine enthusaist away, so if that's what you're here for, then stick around and tell us a little about your interest - maybe what you have stocked in your new wine cabinet, what you've enjoyed drinking this week (there's a weekly posting that makes it easy to just post a tasting vibe or opinion). If your interest is genuine, then you will be made welcome.

If you're spamming then you'll pretty much guarantee that no-one here will buy the product.

Ian

Wonder why he included his email in his profile at Wine Therapy but didn't include it on the Aussie Forums? Nice one Dominic.

I might have bought from this mob if I had heard of them from another source. Print or radio or even advertising on Gavin's site here. There has been alot of this lately and I am getting a bit fedup with ill thought viral marketing.

edit: on second thoughts, that would be teaching them something.
