TN: 2002 Tin Shed Barossa "Three Vines"
Posted: Wed Nov 16, 2005 12:01 pm
40% Mourvedre, 30% Grenache, 30% Shiraz - 14.5% Alc
The nose offers aromas of lead pencil, black pepper, olive, and red fruits. On the palate there is an abundance of juicy black cherry, raspberry, and kirsch, as well as some savory herbs and black pepper. The wine is nicely balanced, with good acidity and a lingering finish. This would be great with roast pork loin stuffed with dried fruits and sage!
