Introducing TysonStelzer.com...
Dear friends,
Introducing TysonStelzer.com, a brand new web site launched this week, featuring more than 1600 of the best wines in Australia and New Zealand.
ItÂ’s fully searchable and provides the unique ability to download a pdf of the entire database.
Best of all, itÂ’s completely independent and absolutely free.
Check it out, and I'll be interested in any feedback you might have.

Best of luck with this.
Out of interest, I seem to have problems with windows sizing on your site, as the enter screen is fully sizeable, but the next screen (with the side menu bar) isn't re-sizeable/scrollable. Not sure whether it's me or an initial site glitch.
Whatever, quite a snazzy site design.
regards
Ian

Couple of other comments.
What defines like it or love it? Can't be scores as they seem to overlap.
Its also a little confusing when you list wines according to the year they were tasted rather than vintage. Also when I try to search for wines from 2003 I get wines from 2004, and vice versa for a search for 2004.
But I'm having fun with it!

It's optimised for 1024 x 768 or higher resolution, as most people tend to be using this these days.

I'm on 1280 x 960, but did try the lower resolution with the same issues - essentially I can't re-size or scroll the secondary page. I'm sure it's just a weird set up on my part (older computer, newer screen). It seems everyone else is ok
Ian
Nah you I get the same thing with the scroll bars. It looks like you are also following some non-standard IE stuff as some of the text formatting gets screwed with Firefox. Some scroll bars would help for navigation. Good info though and it is great to see another wine resource on the net

The second screen is sizable in Opera, despite the code on the enter button explicitly opening the new window with sizeable=no.
Can't say I like the idea of the first welcome screen just popping up the main site window and then just sitting there in the background... And the new window has all the menus/toolbars etc turned off too
I would also like an alternate alphabetic sort order on wine lists as well as price (and unpriced wines sorting to the end).
Tyson, I can only assume you don't want people linking directly to TN's on your site, with Frames it's difficult. You can open the TN in a new window via a right-click menu and save the url I guess, then the "back to list" button doesn't work, but no problem, just close the window.
Frames are evil!

Couple of comments Tyson. First of all - looks fantastic but maybe not so easy to navigate unless you know what you're looking for. Also, it seems many of the love it wines are also in the like it list. 02 bin 407, 98 Vat 1, petaluma coonawarra 96 just spring to mind but there seemed to be lots. A couple of typos in there. One that made me laugh was the 01? lakes folly cab which was sealed with a 45. Interesting image!
Also on one accassion when I went back after a tasting note, the next button was very nearly off the page however I could just click on it. Not so keen on frames either.
All in all looks pretty nice though.

Nice site mate,
This is great for a novice who never gets to sample wines on a regular basis. I am beginning to understand my likes and dislikes, but this gives a beginner some confidence to start with.
I will run with a few of your choices based on the notes alone.
Hope this site develops as you hope.
