WTB: Noon Solaire Grenache

Post by Maximus »

Hi all,

I'm chasing just one bottle of Noon Solaire for an upcoming event in June and the two vintages I'm considering; '98 or '02, seem to be a little rare at auction (yeh, I know, I've left it to the last minute too). If any of the esteemed members of this forum have a bottle they'd be willing to sacrifice, drop a note below or PM me to arrange price and delivery. I haven't tried any of them and whilst I think (and hope) I'll enjoy it very much, I'd prefer to buy and try one bottle before forking out for a half dozen. Any comments from those that have tried it re vintage? Will the '98 be drinking well now? Will the '02 be too young? etc etc.

Cheers and thanks,
Max

Can't help with a bottle 'cos I've only got a couple but the 02 is probably a year or two away from peaking...Why don't you fax Drew Noon? He's a good guy and will help if he can.
