Here's an interesting observation. This poll has already had 52 views but only 9 votes cast.
Maybe it's all those fun young folks off the "other" forum doing the viewing, get stuffed guys!

voted (d) could have easily voted (b) but service has to be at least reasonable - at least one winery I could mention the service was so bad that we'll never go back despite the wines being very good.

Like DJ it was a tossup between d and b. I went the other way.
I expect that we have all had a "poor experience" and one CD or another.
Sometimes it is poor service, poor knowledge by the staff, poor tasting conditions, and sometimes poor wine.

Ah, but this old techno-dog has learned a thing or two over the years and hasn't yet reached the stage where he's forgotten most of it, it's all that healthy red wine that does it, I'm sure.
(Still miss those whirring mainframe tapes and chattering card-feeders though, the days when hanging chads ruined your program run, but not an election...)
