Rockford Dinner at Friends Restaurant, Perth WA

Any forumites going to the Rockford Dinner at Friends Restaurant in Perth this weekend? I hear that '90 Basket Press and '94 disg. Black Shiraz are part of the line-up and would love to see some tasting notes.

Unfortunately, Rockford wine dinners in Adelaide are few and far between of late ...

I'm in Adelaide and a vertical sounds great. I went to one at the Ed about two years ago now - a decade of Basket Press 89-99. It was pretty fabulous although sitting next to two people who's sole aim seemed to be to compare Basket Press to every other shiraz and then say it didn't match up, was a bit of a bummer.

I mean, why bother going to a tasting of a wine if you are certain it compares unfavourably to most everything else ... :roll:
