D'Arenberg queries

Post by HLee »

A local importer had just brought in some diverse range of D'Arenberg wines with some interesting names  which caught my attention. Would like to check to see if anyone had tried them and what are your opinions. TNs would be great! The wines are:

D'Arenberg The Hermit Crab Marsanne Viognier 2003
D'Arenberg The Custodian Grenache 2001
D'Arenberg The Bonsai Vine Grenache Shiraz Mourverde 2001
D'Arenberg The Sticks and Stones Tempranillo, Grenache, Souzao 2002
8)

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
Henn

Hi Henn,

The only one I've tried is the Sticks and Stones, a very nice and distinctive wine that stands out in a crowd, very good with food. Around $28 street price here, not a bargain at that price, but a good wine nonetheless and worth a try.
Cheers
Brian
Life's too short to drink white wine and red wine is better for you too! :-)
