Well - its Prum time, so I'll be getting my fill of the 2017s, and have jagged one of the back vintage Beerenauslese that was offered as well :).

There was also langhe goldkapsel this year, first time I've seen these I Australia.

Indeed - I've nabbed single bottles of Beerenauslese and a couple of different Eisweins before but not a LGK.

Good purchase...my favourite since the 96.

As Ana side, I see the house is describing 2012 as the best vintage in Champagne since 1959, so I can’t wait for the CdG to be released.

I would be interested in some of these Gavin. Can you PM me the mates rates? :D :D

I have some 2011s and 2013s. Visited the cellar door last year and loved the range!

Cheers

Just got back from Barbaresco and had an amazing time in that village. There is a hotel named Casa Boffa where we stayed (thanks Jamie!) which has to be the most amazing, comfortable beautiful place to stay. If going to stay in the village, Casa Boffa is brilliant. Their breakfast is delicious, the wifi pumping, the rooms supremely comfortable, and their wines amazing. They have the most amazing terrace overlooking the vineyards. As a result I chased up their wines here and bought a doz of their barbera and six of their riserva. This area has to be the most beautiful wine growing area in the world (I am prone to over excitement)

Good to see mate, we will be set for the the 2035 offline line. I'll only be 70, you might have to wheel me in and give me a straw

Mine still hasn't arrived, glad in a way as I have bought a lot of wine (for me at least) this year and its only bloody July. There are still some hefty purchases to come...a mixed case of Noons in November +/- a few Christmas specials will be small change compared with whats coming over the next couple of months.

Cheers Craig

PS. Congratulations, apart from Matt in Clare, I'd bet you are the first customer in Australia who has consignment!

For me, the 2008 Taittinger Comtes will be a financial pain point... expected end of this year or early next.
