Nebbiolo from Lombardia. 13% ABV.

My first introduction to AR.PR.PE. The wine was initially closed but after 2 hours in the decanter it revealed itself. Smells like Burgundy. On the palate is red cherry fruit, mushroom, rose water, hints of star anise and tar. Lovely gentle tannins and bright acidity. More dainty than Nebbiolo from Piedmont. A joy to drink. I can't see this getting any better. Drink now or will hold for 5 years.
