Laflaive 2007 batard (my bottle purchased in burgundy & carried back & at release was a stunner)
2011 boillot corton charlie had a tad but still drinkable
Blain gangnard was a car crash of issues but the owner was in denial (sorry Paul no offence)
Jadot 2006 was gone premox

So in reality
3.5 bottles
My backup was the Ramonet...

Hi Michel,

Sure wasn't a weekend to be drinking any heavy reds...

Any notes / vibes / impressions so I can taste vicariously? Wines way above my experience.

Did you arrange BYO at Tartufo specially? Any difficulty?

Best regards
Will

byo politely
great value 110 bucks each

2011 boillot corton charlie was a tad oxidised but well structured
2008 bouchard corton charlie was fresh vibrant persistant and deftly structured
2009 morey showed some generosity in view of the year a very good wine - not a great wine
2006 latour montrachet was lumpy for me
2003 dominique laurant vougeot was a surprise still fresh and the oak was generous but not as bad as usual ok
2010 giaconda was double blind we all said USA or Burgundy
2006 chevalier montrachet was numb and dumb ? premeox
the blain I hated as mentioned plain faulty and flabby
the other montrachet Chartron I think was powerful and intense but all were dwarfed by the
length and linearity of the Ramonet.
