Are they good for long term cellaring (10-20)? Looking at broadening my collection. Would the latest release of 2000 Eight Songs be a good addition?

I would not be looking at Barossa shiraz from the 2000 vintage as a long term cellaring prospect. 98,99 or 02 would likely last longer.

Don't know about the 2000, but we had the 1998 Eight Songs in Florida last week and it was fabulous!

Agreed. We did a big 98 shiraz tasting recently and concluded these wines are NOT falling over as some might have you believe. Selected 99's are starting to look quite good, and the early 02's are promising. 01's in general might drink early (but there will always be exceptions), 03 will be interesting to watch, as will 04 in time!
I initially assessed the 98 Stonewell as an early drinker, but on a second try, I'd assess it as having a long life ahead of it. but hey, i'm hopeless at drinking windows!
